Casual Caregiver – Flexible Hours in Fort Saskatchewan

About the role

We are looking for compassionate caregivers to provide in‑home support to clients in Fort Saskatchewan. This casual, part‑time position offers flexible shifts ranging from 3 to 12 hours, allowing you to balance work with other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Support medication administration according to the care plan.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or outings.
• Provide friendly companionship and conversation.
• Help clients move safely and follow documented care plans.

Required profile

• Health Care Aide Certificate, foreign‑trained nursing degree, or current nursing student.
• Registration with the Alberta HCA Directory or ability to register.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB test or recent chest X‑ray.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Kind, caring attitude and desire to help others.
