Cashier Merchandiser

About the role

Join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store as a Cashier Merchandiser. You will provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout while keeping the sales floor well‑presented and organized.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, greet shoppers, and maintain a clean checkout area.
• Accurately scan items, process payments, coupons, lottery tickets and PC Optimum rewards.
• Handle cash, coupons, and stamp inventory with strict loss‑prevention standards.
• Maintain product presentation through facing, signing, labeling and other merchandising tasks.
• Complete required documentation for receipts, returns and inventory control.
• Follow store policies, health and safety regulations, and uniform guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong planning, judgement and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to balance teamwork with efficient order processing.
• Well‑organized, detail‑oriented and capable of accurate record‑keeping.
• Good computer and register proficiency.
