About the role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team at 881 CORNER GAS Ltd. in Lac La Biche. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and process cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
- Scan items accurately and receive payment for goods or services.
- Stock shelves, maintain a clean counter area, and keep the checkout zone organized.
- Greet customers warmly and provide courteous customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues at the point of sale.
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Support available for newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- On‑the‑job training tailored to youth applicants.
