About the role
Enfield Formwork Ltd. is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team in Abbotsford, BC. This full‑time permanent position involves working on a variety of residential and industrial projects, ensuring high‑quality craftsmanship and compliance with building codes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare layout plans that meet building code requirements using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in diverse settings such as mills, mines, hospitals and industrial plants.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of carpentry experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with measuring tools.
- Layout preparation and interpretation of building codes.
- Cutting, shaping and assembling wood and related materials.
