About the role
We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our Oakville team, handling construction, renovation and maintenance projects across commercial, residential and industrial sites.
Key responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of carpentry experience.
- Ability to work at heights, outdoors and in physically demanding conditions.
- Accurate, reliable and a strong team player.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Measuring, cutting and assembling wood and related materials.
