About the role

Goodman Building is seeking a skilled carpenter to join its construction team in Pemberton, BC. The successful candidate will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, delivering high‑quality woodwork and structural installations.

Key responsibilities

Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
Use hand tools safely and efficiently on site.

Required profile

Accurate and reliable with strong punctuality.
Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Team‑player who values ethics and workplace safety.

Required skills

Blueprint reading and interpretation.
Measuring, cutting and shaping wood and related materials.
Proficient use of hand tools.
Installation of windows, doors and stair systems.
