CAD Technician

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a CAD Technician to support the design and construction of subway infrastructure projects in Ontario. The role involves creating and maintaining accurate 3D BIM models and 2D drawings that translate engineering and survey data into detailed digital representations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update 3D BIM models for civil alignments, corridors, site works and station building components using Revit and Civil 3D.
• Produce 2D construction drawings that comply with project BIM standards and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure model integrity and alignment with design intent.
• Assist in model coordination, clash detection and resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain model libraries and ensure consistent naming conventions and data management.

Required profile

• Experience in creating BIM models for infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles and survey data interpretation.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within established standards.
