CAD Technician

About the role

The CAD Technician will support Bosch Building Technologies by preparing, organizing, and presenting detailed design documentation throughout project execution and close‑out. Working closely with systems designers, engineers, and project managers, the role ensures technical deliverables are clear, accurate, and aligned with client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design documents such as plot plans, elevation drawings, wiring details, and bills of material.
• Produce as‑built drawings and technical close‑out documents for security and building technology systems.
• Maintain documentation in Bosch’s document management repositories for the duration of contracts.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and design stakeholders to develop consistent documentation packages.
• Identify and document processes that improve design efficiency and scalability.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years drafting and design experience in IT, instrumentation, controls, electronics, or security.
• Post‑secondary education in Electronics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
