Buyer – MRO Purchasing (Quebec, Canada)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Buyer to manage Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) purchasing for our clients in Quebec. You will be responsible for the full procurement cycle, from requisition to receipt, ensuring timely delivery and cost‑effective sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end MRO purchasing process for assigned clients, from requisition through receipt.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve best value.
• Maintain service metrics in a call‑center environment and resolve invoice exceptions.
• Act as liaison between clients, suppliers and internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve purchasing issues.
• Communicate proactively with suppliers about delivery dates and with field teams on order status.
• Develop counter‑measures for under‑performing processes or suppliers.
• Travel to customer sites as needed for training or meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent purchasing experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation in a client‑driven environment.
• Native‑level fluency in English and French (oral and written).
