About the role

The Business Solutions Co-op provides a hands‑on learning experience within BCI's Investment Operations department. You will gain exposure to daily operations, data analytics, and high‑impact projects while supporting cash flow and settlement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and support Investment Operations functions across multiple asset classes.
• Process transactions, respond to inquiries, and reconcile records with the custodian (Northern Trust).
• Document procedures, workflows, and process maps for internal use.
• Maintain and troubleshoot workflows and workbooks used in daily operations.
• Provide accurate cash‑related data to portfolio managers and collaborate with Trade Management and Accounting to resolve cash breaks.
• Assist with system‑to‑system integrations and support SWIFT messaging and custody relationships.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Interest in finance, asset management, and investment operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior analysts and cross‑functional teams.
• Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program and available for the September–April work terms.

Required skills

• SimCorp Dimension (SCD) application.
• Broadridge transaction management tools.
• SWIFT messaging knowledge.
