Business Partner, Talent Acquisition

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner reports to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and works within Aecon’s Nuclear division. The role partners with hiring leaders to deliver strategic talent outcomes, attract top talent, and shape proactive sourcing and hiring strategies aligned with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full‑cycle recruitment for all open positions in the Nuclear division, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks and extending offers.
• Identify and implement sourcing strategies and channels to build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Maintain a professional online and social media presence and leverage personal networks to prospect talent.
• Provide trusted, data‑driven advice to hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence to ensure alignment with enterprise TA standards, governance and best practices.

Required profile

• Experience partnering with business leaders to deliver talent acquisition solutions.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes in a matrixed environment.
• Strong understanding of strategic workforce planning and talent market dynamics.
