Business Development Representative (Remote with Travel)

About the role

Waste Solutions Canada is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to drive new revenue across a territory centered in Kingston, ON. The role is primarily remote but requires regular travel to client sites within a three‑hour radius.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and prospecting.
• Visit potential clients, present services, and negotiate service agreements, including pricing.
• Manage the full sales cycle using CRM tools and maintain accurate prospect lists.
• Deliver sales presentations and upsell additional services to meet targets.
• Assist clients in implementing new waste‑management programs.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic outbound sales professional with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Comfortable navigating a CRM and eager to learn new technology.
• Creative with Microsoft Office tools and able to impress clients with polished presentations.
• Team‑oriented and respectful of client relationships.
