Business Development Representative

About the role

The Business Development Representative will drive growth for Classic Fire + Life Safety across Southwestern Ontario, building relationships with existing clients and pursuing new opportunities in the construction and life‑safety markets.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new leads, identify key decision‑makers, qualify opportunities and support route‑to‑market strategies in the assigned territory.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with high‑value existing clients while uncovering new quotation and project opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Business Development, Branch Directors and Estimating teams to create market‑entry strategies for priority sectors and accounts.
• Assist estimating teams with opportunity qualification, client meetings, follow‑up and closing activities.
• Monitor client needs, construction activity and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Work with construction leadership and marketing to produce client‑focused presentations, capability materials and sales collateral.
• Represent Classic at industry events, association meetings, trade shows and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, preferably within fire protection, life‑safety or construction sectors.
