Business Development Representative – Account Manager

About the role

Vision Talent is seeking a Business Development Representative who will also act as an Account Manager. In this hybrid position you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, helping them understand how the firm’s Talent Advisory services can support their growth and hiring objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification.
• Schedule and conduct introductory meetings with prospective clients, both virtually and in‑person.
• Partner with Account Executives and Talent Leaders to convert qualified opportunities into long‑term client relationships.
• Serve as the initial liaison for new prospects, clearly communicating client needs internally.
• Understand prospective clients’ business challenges and hiring initiatives, and articulate how Vision Talent’s services deliver measurable outcomes.
• Apply consultative selling techniques with a focus on client value, impact, and ROI.
• Maintain accurate activity tracking, pipeline progression, and forecasting within the CRM.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education, preferably in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in professional sales, business development, recruitment, or consulting.
• Proven ability to grow a sales pipeline through relationship‑based selling.
• Exposure to technology, professional services, or talent solutions is strongly preferred.
• Experience using consultative sales approaches with senior stakeholders.
