Business Development Manager – Reverse Mortgage

About the role

The Business Development Manager will grow reverse mortgage origination volume by building and nurturing relationships with mortgage brokers across assigned regions. The role focuses on prospecting new broker partnerships, supporting existing ones, and meeting volume targets while upholding the bank’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new broker relationships and strengthen existing ones.
• Assist brokers in finding deals that fit the bank’s addressable market and promote the bank’s value proposition.
• Facilitate the closing of acceptable deals by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring compliance with credit guidelines.
• Communicate primarily through non‑face‑to‑face channels, with occasional in‑person presentations at training sessions, industry events, and special occasions.
• Maintain a deep knowledge of the broker network, bank products, internal processes, and credit policies.
• Report directly to the Director of Residential Sales.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building and management skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both internal sales teams and external broker partners.
• Solid understanding of mortgage products, credit guidelines, and internal processes.
