Business Development Manager – Machine Vision Solutions

About the role

As the Business Development Manager for TrueLight Machine Vision Solutions, you will drive growth across North America by helping manufacturers solve complex production challenges with advanced machine vision, robotic guidance, and AI‑enabled inspection technologies. This consultative sales position blends new‑business prospecting with strategic account management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers, understand their processes, and propose vision‑based solutions that improve quality, traceability, and efficiency.
• Develop and execute outreach plans to enter new markets and industries.
• Build strong relationships with key decision‑makers and conduct presentations and demos.
• Collaborate with marketing on lead‑generation campaigns and represent TrueLight at industry events and trade shows.
• Qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline, and close new deals.
• Work closely with Applications Engineering and project teams to ensure seamless solution development and delivery.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through ongoing support and upselling.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within industrial automation or manufacturing.
• Strong consultative selling skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable traveling to customer sites.
