About the role
Join a family‑valued, 30‑year‑old Quebec company that produces prepared meals and ready‑to‑eat products. Reporting directly to the President, you will drive growth by opening new markets and strengthening partnerships across the food sector.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospective customers and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key players in the food industry.
- Design and implement growth strategies aligned with market conditions and company objectives.
- Present new products and secure listing opportunities with prospective customers.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Participate in commercial negotiations and prepare customer proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project feasibility, follow‑up, and successful execution.
Required profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Account Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of business development experience in the food industry or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.
- Good knowledge of food retailers, distributors, and chain accounts (asset).
- Proficiency in SAP (asset).
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Proven ability to prospect and develop new customer relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Availability for occasional travel and short business trips.
