Business Development Manager (Air & Ocean)

About the role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will drive growth of CEVA’s air and ocean logistics services across Canada. Your focus will be on generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market intelligence to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and achieve monthly registration targets.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system and provide weekly reports.
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate bids, quotations, and major tenders.
• Represent CEVA at industry events, conferences, and conventions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless hand‑over from sales to operations.

Required profile

• Diploma in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of experience selling logistics services.
• Strong understanding of the air and ocean freight market and its competition.
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using CRM systems for sales tracking.
