About the role
Elite Startup Hub is seeking a full‑time Business Advisor and Development Executive to join its Edmonton office. The role focuses on driving new business opportunities, generating leads, and delivering tailored solutions to startups, SMEs, and entrepreneurs.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Alberta startup ecosystem.
- Generate leads, build and maintain strong client relationships, and manage accounts.
- Present customized business solutions and consult on growth strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client projects and ensure successful outcomes.
- Assist senior leadership in strategic decision‑making to increase revenue and organisational success.
Required profile
- Proven expertise in new business development and lead generation.
- Strong account‑management experience with a focus on client retention.
- Excellent business communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and strategic decision‑making capability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Experience working with startups, SMEs, or innovation‑focused organisations is preferred.
