Breakfast Program Technician (Part‑time)

About the role

The Breakfast Program Technician supports Lambton College’s Lion’s Heart breakfast initiative, ensuring students have reliable access to daily nutrition. This part‑time, 24‑hour‑per‑week position works directly with students, staff, and community partners.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase groceries and supplies needed for the breakfast program.
• Coordinate donation drop‑offs and manage student pick‑up schedules.
• Organise and maintain the Lion’s Heart space to keep it clean and functional.
• Provide soft referrals to students for financial aid, counselling, housing and other support services.
• Develop and maintain an anonymous tracking system to capture program usage data for funding and grant applications.

Required profile

• 2‑year post‑secondary diploma.
• At least 1 year of practical experience in a food‑service, community‑service or similar role.
• Commitment to inclusive, barrier‑free service delivery.
