Branch Manager – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead Harbour Door Services’ Victoria operation, driving revenue growth, financial performance and customer relationships. This 12‑month fixed‑term position combines strategic commercial leadership with close collaboration with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless execution of projects and services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the branch, setting and monitoring financial targets such as revenue, gross margin and profitability.
• Develop and execute annual business plans, budgets and growth strategies, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Lead all sales activities across residential new construction, renovation & replacement and commercial markets, establishing targets and driving team accountability.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, maintain key accounts, and manage major bids and strategic relationships.
• Oversee pricing strategies, estimating and quotation processes to ensure competitiveness and margin alignment.
• Direct marketing initiatives, including digital presence, social media and local outreach, to support lead generation and brand visibility.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors and partners, representing Harbour Door as a market leader.
• Coach and develop direct reports—including sales representatives, estimators, finance/administration staff and the Operations Manager—fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of progressive experience in construction, building products or service‑based industries.
• Proven leadership experience with full accountability for business performance and profitability.
• Strong background in sales, estimating, pricing and customer relationship management.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, manage budgets and make data‑driven financial decisions.
