Branch Floater (Full-Time) – Burlington, ON

About the role

As a Branch Floater at Chit Chats, you will be the first point of contact for clients visiting our Burlington branch and surrounding locations in Halton. You will ensure shipments comply with customs regulations, process parcels efficiently, and maintain a welcoming, clean environment for customers and teammates.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, represent the brand, and build positive rapport.
• Maintain branch cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and face‑to‑face.
• Provide consultative service, recommend products and services.
• Process shipments meticulously: scan, sort, load onto skids, and complete Bills of Lading.
• Take inventory, order supplies, and manage incoming/outgoing client returns.
• Educate clients on customs compliance, weight, dimensions, and packaging restrictions.
• Ensure batch accuracy and proper documentation for any shipment issues.
• Support drivers with loading/unloading and perform fulfillment tasks such as picking, packing, and shipping.
• Perform additional duties as required across multiple branch locations.
