About the role
Scarborough Toyota is seeking a Body Shop Prepper to join its high‑volume, process‑driven dealership. The role focuses on preparing vehicles for bodywork and paint, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare panels for priming and apply primer.
- Sand surfaces, mix paint, and blend and match colors.
- Perform minor body work and maintain a clean work area.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and return vehicles to customers in proper condition.
- Complete repair orders within specified time frames and communicate any delays.
Required profile
- Automotive prep/refinish experience.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Willingness to follow hazardous waste and safety regulations and complete required training.
Required skills
- Use of refinish equipment and spray guns.
- Operation of spray cards and computer tinting systems.
- Paint mixing and color matching.
