Biology Instructor – Candidate Pool (Fall 2026)

About the role

Dawson College is seeking qualified biology educators to join its Candidate Pool for the Fall 2026 term. Selected candidates will be kept on file for six months and may be considered for temporary teaching assignments on a city‑center campus with a multicultural student body.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver biology courses and related instructional activities at the college level.
• Participate in pedagogical days organized by the College.
• Attend departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in student‑focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and the year‑end Graduate Exhibition.
• Perform department‑related administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• M.Sc. in Biology or equivalent.
• Teaching experience at the college level is an asset.
• Excellent English communication skills (essential).
• General knowledge of French (asset).
