Bilingual French/English SMB Account Manager

About the role

Join Square’s Account Management team to help small‑ and medium‑business merchants grow. You will work with French‑speaking sellers, guiding them to maximise the value of Square’s integrated payment, commerce and financial services solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and retain a multi‑million‑dollar GPV customer portfolio.
• Understand merchant needs and align Square products to achieve their business goals.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities, generating new revenue streams.
• Address customer concerns strategically and ensure a seamless experience.
• Contribute to the expansion of the managed accounts program.
• Collaborate with Sales, Support and Product teams to deliver best‑in‑class service.
• Specialise in a product area, provide feedback to product managers and support peers.

Required profile

• Full bilingual fluency in French and English.
• 2–3 years of experience in sales, account management or a related field.
• Proven ability to discover, close sales opportunities and build lasting client relationships.
• Experience managing a pipeline to meet revenue targets.
• Strong interest in business operations, strategy and emerging technologies.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
