Bilingual Content and SEO AEO Manager

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Content and SEO AEO Manager to lead the creation, optimisation and maintenance of automotive advice content and SEO‑focused product pages for AutoTrader.ca and AutoHebdo.net. The role combines editorial expertise with data‑driven SEO strategy to boost organic traffic, engagement and conversions across our digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own the creation, updating and quality assurance of automotive advice articles and SEO‑focused product pages, aligning with customer needs, search intent and user journeys.
• Brief, manage and collaborate with external content agencies and freelance partners to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality, SEO‑optimised content.
• Apply a data‑driven approach to topic research, content ideation and optimisation, using tools such as Semrush, SISTRIX, Ahrefs, Ryte and Google Analytics.
• Leverage AI‑driven content creation and optimisation techniques to improve discoverability on LLMs and AI‑powered platforms.
• Identify SEO and AI opportunities, conduct research and implement enhancements using advanced software.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders within the AutoScout24 group to align content initiatives across markets.
• Monitor automotive, mobility and car‑related trends and translate insights into high‑impact content.
• Contribute to a global content and SEO network, sharing best practices and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SEO, content marketing or online editorial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of current SEO/AEO best practices and content optimisation methodologies.
• Experience with SEO/AEO and web analytics tools.
• Familiarity with HTML and modern web publishing workflows.
