Bilingual Claims Support Specialist (English/French)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual (English/French) Claims Support Specialist to join our Toronto team. The position is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work, and offers a stable full‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound communications (email, phone, mail, fax) with claimants, providing empathetic support.
• Enter, validate, and update claim data in databases with high accuracy.
• Scan, organize, and securely maintain confidential documents.
• Code claim details, perform quality checks, and flag discrepancies.
• Handle high‑volume call center activities, maintain detailed call notes, and follow compliance protocols.
• Triage and resolve internal support tickets, documenting inquiries promptly.
• Assist with backlog cleanup, process improvements, reporting, and audit support.
• Train, coach, and support junior team members.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and French (mandatory).
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, call handling, or claims support.
• Strong data‑entry and administrative abilities.
• Comfort handling sensitive, emotionally charged content.
• Attention to detail, organization, and clear communication.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with VOIP or call centre systems.
