Behaviour Consultant

About the role

Kinark is seeking a Behaviour Consultant to support service development and delivery within the Ontario Autism Program and related group services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This temporary, full‑time position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of three in‑person days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Pilot, modify, and deliver new and existing group‑based ABA services both virtually and onsite.
• Identify service gaps, conduct quality assurance, and enhance client experience, marketing, and advertising.
• Develop curricula and resources for foundational family and group‑based ABA services.
• Train new facilitators and supervise group service delivery.
• Create report templates and produce written reports.
• Support additional Kinark Autism programs such as Brief Behavioural Consultation, Connections for Students, and ABA Coaching.
• Work evenings and weekends as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Applied Behaviour Analysis.
• Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ontario) preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Experience with group service development, consultation, and caregiver education is a strong asset.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and willingness to obtain business auto insurance.
• Bilingual candidates (English/French) receive special consideration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
