Beauty Specialist – Retail Cosmetics Sales

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Beauty Specialist to join our locally owned store and help customers discover and enjoy our range of beauty products and services. You will be the face of the cosmetics department, driving sales while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise sales of beauty products and promote promotional programs.
• Encourage customers to join and use the PC Optimum loyalty program.
• Book appointments for in‑store events and conduct makeup/skincare consultations.
• Attend vendor training, workshops and adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and loss‑prevention‑compliant environment.

Required profile

• Strong planning, judgment and decision‑making abilities.
• Independent thinker with proven consultative selling experience in cosmetics.
• Good knowledge of a wide range of beauty products and services.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate product application.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders and bend to stock shelves.
