Bartender - O&B Blue Mountain

About the role

Oliver & Bonacini is hiring a part-time Bartender for its Blue Mountain location. Bartenders take pride in their food, wine and spirit knowledge, build relationships with guests and are often asked for by name. They receive beverage orders and make drinks quickly and efficiently while keeping O&B standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create a positive guest experience through interaction and following the steps of service
• Promptly receive drink orders and pour all beverages according to O&B standards
• Present drinks clearly and organised at the service bar pick-up area
• Communicate beverage descriptions, specials and information to guests and team members
• Set up and take down the bar area, dishwasher and cappuccino machine
• Stock and maintain bar products including mise en place
• Check and maintain beer keg and liquor levels
• Count and take inventory of beverages and supplies and assist the manager with ordering
• Be aware of special requests, including guest allergies
• Other duties as assigned

Required profile

• At least 2 years of bartending experience in a similar environment
• Impeccable wine, beer and classic cocktail knowledge
• Ability to multi-task and act as a strong lounge server
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Able to stand for long periods and lift and move beer kegs, liquor and wine boxes
• Available weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

• Wine, beer and classic cocktail knowledge
