Baker – Part‑Time & Full‑Time Positions

About the role

Regency Bakery is looking for motivated bakers to join its team in Greater Sudbury. No prior experience is required, though experience in baking or the food industry is an asset. The role involves preparing a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods for both retail and wholesale customers.

Key responsibilities

• Open the bakery early (4:00 am) and set up workstations.
• Weigh and portion flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
• Mix, proof, shape, and bake breads, rolls, croissants, cookies, and sweet rolls.
• Package baked goods for store display and wholesale orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, equipment, and common areas, including daily sanitisation.
• Ensure timely delivery of wholesale orders.

Required profile

• Ability to work early‑morning shifts, five days a week.
• Strong focus on food quality and customer satisfaction.
• Good time‑management and ability to stay calm in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑spirit with a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Proficiency in baking techniques and dough handling.
