About the role
Tim Hortons in Nanaimo is looking for a dedicated baker to join its team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods and ensuring a safe, clean kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare dough, batters, icings and frostings for pies, breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, cakes and other sweet goods according to recipes or special orders.
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies and cakes.
- Prepare icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked items to meet quality standards.
- Train, schedule, hire and oversee staff involved in food preparation and handling.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, overseeing safety procedures.
- Complete onboarding documentation and operational logs.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of baking or related food‑service experience.
