Backend Software Engineer

About the role

As a Backend Software Engineer you will join Trackunit’s team of over 200 engineers, building and maintaining the cloud services that power more than 10,000 daily active users and 1.25 million IoT devices. You will work in a fast‑moving SaaS environment, collaborating with customers, product owners and other engineers to deliver reliable, scalable backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy backend features for Trackunit’s IoT platform using modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and improve services that support thousands of concurrent users and millions of connected devices.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and cross‑team collaborations.
• Continuously explore new tools and technologies to enhance product performance and developer productivity.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven ability to clearly articulate complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.
