Back of House Coordinator

About the role

Our retail team at JD Sports Canada is seeking a Back of House Coordinator for the Queen St. location in Toronto. The role offers the chance to develop operations expertise while gaining hands‑on experience with stockroom management and e‑commerce order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Front of House staff by pulling in‑store customer requests.
• Lead day‑to‑day stockroom operations, ensuring accurate labeling, logical placement, neat arrangement, and cleanliness.
• Receive, handle, and manage inventory efficiently to contribute to store profitability.
• Process daily e‑commerce sales, including picking, packing, and shipping orders directly to customers.
• Communicate regularly with customer service and stores via Slack and email.
• Research inventory discrepancies to reduce shrinkage and resolve issues.
• Utilize the inventory system for daily tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of retail or stockroom experience.
• Experience with the Shopify platform is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and problem‑solving ability.
• High attention to detail and task‑oriented mindset.
• Proactive and organized work style.
