Associate Technology Consultant (Technical Sales Specialist)

About the role

Rockwell Automation's EDGE Technical Sales and Consulting Program is a multi-month training program combining sales, technical and professional training in classroom and on-the-job settings. After the program, candidates are placed in a field sales office across Canada. This listing is for an Associate Technology Consultant, a role designed for early-career professionals and recent college graduates who will start in the formal training program before rotating into the field service engineering group.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to prospect emails, phone calls and demo requests, explaining the capabilities and benefits of the portfolio to customers
• Provide technical support in pre-sales activities for a defined range of products within a defined geography
• Help with commercial marketing activities and interface with product teams
• Act as the contact for product and quality issues and provide post-sales troubleshooting when needed
• Serve as the local interface with Tech Support and a technical resource for Rockwell products within your area of expertise

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Legal authorization to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not offered
• Location flexibility and a valid Canadian driver's licence
• Preferred: previous intern experience with Rockwell Automation, its Partner Network or customers, and co-op or intern experience in manufacturing or a customer-facing role
• Preferred: a degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Engineering Sales, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain or a similar technical field, graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027 or within the past 3 years from Spring 2027

• Base salary of $85,000 - $100,000 CAD per year, with a 5% annual target bonus
