Associate Product Manager

About the role

Descartes is seeking a detail‑oriented Associate Product Manager to help manage, optimize, and grow its Pacejet carrier network. You will work at the intersection of technology, product, and operations, ensuring carrier integrations are reliable, scalable, and easy to use for both customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain 80–100 active carrier integrations across Parcel, LTL, and 3PL.
• Deliver API‑based carrier integrations that power exceptional customer experiences with major North American carriers such as UPS, FedEx, ABF, Estes, and others.
• Keep critical resources up to date, including API documentation, carrier contacts, and internal support tools.
• Monitor carrier usage trends and help ensure top carriers remain healthy and reliable.
• Define, maintain, and evolve integration standards to ensure consistency and compliance.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in product, support, QA, analyst, or similar roles within SaaS or logistics.
• Strong project‑management skills, especially in fast software‑upgrade cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a talent for clear documentation.
• Highly organized, curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Experience working with APIs and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with integration standards and ensuring compliance.
• Knowledge of tools such as Aha and DevOps for efficient execution.
