Associate Planner – Direct

About the role

TD Wealth is seeking an Associate Planner, Direct to join its Toronto team. You will work with mass‑affluent clients, providing holistic financial planning and investment advice through phone and digital channels. The role focuses on building lasting relationships and helping clients achieve their retirement and wealth goals.

Key responsibilities

• Build and strengthen existing TD Wealth financial planning relationships with a focus on retirement and investment planning.
• Develop and execute a sales plan to onboard TDCT customers, deepen relationships, and drive profitability and retention.
• Identify client goals, recommend tailored solutions, and provide ongoing advice on investment strategies, including third‑party mutual funds.
• Proactively acquire and grow external assets through outreach and planning conversations.
• Deliver financial planning conversations via phone and digital platforms, using screen‑sharing technology.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships through regular reviews and updates to financial plans.
• Contribute to team and department objectives, model client‑centric behaviours, and refer clients to TD partners as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in banking services with a track record of managing client relationships and providing investment advice.
• Willingness to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensing with the Canadian Investment Regulatory authority.
