Vice President, Finance

About the role

Kensington Grey Agency Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Finance to lead financial planning, accounting, and strategic operations across its North‑American business. This senior leader will sit on the Senior Leadership Team, shaping strategy while building the finance function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting, including AP/AR, close processes, and compliance for US and Canadian entities.
• Develop and manage cross‑border tax, transfer pricing, and commission/bonus programs.
• Design and implement finance systems, tools, and reporting processes to support a scaling, sales‑driven organization.
• Provide commercial insight on rate structures, talent deal economics, and profitability analysis.
• Advise the CEO, COO, and senior leadership on growth, margin expansion, capital allocation, and risk.

Required profile

• 12‑15+ years of progressive finance leadership, including senior finance roles.
• Experience operating in both US and Canadian markets with cross‑border tax expertise.
• Proven track record building finance teams, processes, and systems from scratch.
• Hands‑on leadership in a start‑up environment and experience managing at least two direct reports.

Required skills

• CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Advanced analytics and financial modeling capabilities.
• Strong accounting expertise covering AP, AR, and close processes.
