Associate – Markets & Liquidity

About the role

The Associate, Markets & Liquidity supports BCI’s exchange‑traded and OTC derivatives book across all asset classes, handling trade capture, lifecycle management, settlement and regulatory reporting. The role also manages daily FX netting, hedging programs, collateral funding decisions and the securities lending program.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily valuations, P&L optimization and reset management for listed and OTC derivatives across Equity, Fixed Income, FX and Credit.
• Manage FX hedge rolls, maintain predefined hedging ratios and net spot FX trades to reduce costs.
• Calculate, issue and confirm daily variation and initial margin calls, monitor counter‑party exposures and resolve valuation disputes.
• Oversee the agency securities lending program, review loan activity, coordinate recalls and optimize security selection for revenue.
• Leverage AI models and automation tools to streamline derivatives lifecycle, margin processing and securities lending workflows.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field; professional designation (CFA, FRM, CA, CPA, MBA, CAIA) is an asset.
• 3‑5 years of progressive experience in a large asset‑management, investment or banking environment.
• Strong understanding of global capital markets, securities lending lifecycle, regulatory reporting (UMR, SIMM) and collateral management.
• Experience in FX hedge management, derivative valuation and funding decisions.
