About the role

The Associate Enrolment Services Advisor (AESA) is a key professional within UBC's Enrolment Services, acting as a financial advisor and registrational expert. The role supports thousands of current and prospective students by providing accurate information on tuition, fees, financial aid, registration, and admissions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise students on financial support, tuition assessment, fee collection, and payment options.
• Manage student records, registration processes, admissions inquiries, and transfer credit evaluations.
• Support domestic student recruitment and provide referrals to campus partners.
• Serve up to 50,000 Vancouver‑campus students and 25,000 prospective domestic students annually.
• Contribute to the development, interpretation, and delivery of Enrolment Services programs and service standards.

Required profile

• Registrational professional with strong knowledge of university policies and student experience.
• Financial advising capability and ability to represent Enrolment Services publicly.
• Independent worker who collaborates with Enrolment Services Advisors and reports to the Associate Director, Student Support & Advising.
