Assistant/Associate Professor (Clinical) – Developmental Pediatrics

About the role

The Department of Pediatrics at McGill University seeks a full‑time Clinician‑Educator to join the Division of General Pediatrics at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. The appointment is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical) and focuses on Developmental Pediatrics.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care to children with developmental disorders.
• Lead and expand the Developmental Pediatrics Program within the Division.
• Deliver clinical teaching, supervision, and mentorship to medical trainees.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, and knowledge translation activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Brain, Development, and Behaviour network.

Required profile

• Medical degree with certification in Pediatrics.
• Specialized expertise in Developmental Pediatrics.
• Experience in clinical education and supervision of learners.
• Strong commitment to academic medicine and research.

Required skills

• Clinical expertise in developmental disorders (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning disorders).
• Ability to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Proficiency in interdisciplinary collaboration.
