Assistant Team Leader – Retail Store Operations

About the role

The Assistant Team Leader supports the store management team in daily retail operations, ensuring a smooth, safe, and customer‑focused environment. This role combines hands‑on tasks such as stocking, shipment handling, and cash management with leadership duties like supervising breaks and assisting in hiring.

Key responsibilities

• Assist managers with overall store operations and staff coordination.
• Receive, box, and unbox daily shipments; stock products on shelves.
• Climb ladders safely to reach all store areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and visual standards.
• Handle cash management, opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Track breaks, time, and attendance; support manager‑on‑duty duties.
• Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and task follow‑up.

Required profile

• Approximately one year of retail experience.
• At least one year in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Flexible availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
