Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage supports the Food and Beverage Manager in delivering exceptional dining experiences to aquarium visitors and internal guests. Working in a high‑volume quick‑service environment, you will oversee daily operations across all outlets, coach staff, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day operations of food and beverage outlets and catering events.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Maintain inventory levels, conduct reconciliations, and manage ordering processes.
• Address visitor and guest feedback promptly, acting as a “tour guide” when needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
• Review and approve timesheets, assist with performance evaluations, and support staff development.
• Collaborate with culinary and other departments to guarantee a memorable guest experience.
