About the role
Local Pizza is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support daily operations at our Victoria location. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure smooth service, staff performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor revenues and determine labour costs.
- Track staff performance and conduct performance reviews.
- Plan, organise, and supervise daily operations.
- Recruit, train, and schedule staff (5‑10 people).
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and claims.
- Manage special events and promotional activities.
Required profile
- College or CEGEP diploma (1‑2 years) in Hospitality Administration/Management or a related field.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a fast‑food or restaurant environment.
- Organised, reliable, team‑player with the ability to multitask.
