Assistant Controller – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Assistant Controller will support the owner in steering the company’s financial performance. Based in Villeray, Montreal, this permanent full‑time role offers a hands‑on environment where you will influence budgeting, forecasting and strategic decisions. You will report directly to the owner, giving you visibility into key strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities and performance trends.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights for business decisions.
• Assist in month‑end close, reporting and variance analysis.
• Support cash‑flow management and financial risk assessment.
