Application Architect – SAP Supply Chain Management

About the role

The Application Architect will lead the design and governance of Edmonton’s end‑to‑end digital supply chain, procurement and finance ecosystem. This senior position focuses on integrating SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass, OpenText and SAP Business Technology Platform to create a scalable, compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall architecture for Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance processes across SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass and OpenText.
• Design and govern complex integration points using SAP BTP Integration Suite, CIG, APIs, IDocs and Datasphere.
• Lead workshops with business teams to translate requirements into architectural designs.
• Provide architectural direction to functional consultants, developers and testing teams.
• Partner with data and reporting teams to build analytics solutions with SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP enterprise architecture, preferably in supply chain, procurement or finance domains.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale digital transformation projects in a public‑sector environment.
• Strong understanding of master‑data, supplier data and transactional data governance.
