Apparel Designer (Junior to Senior)

About the role

We are seeking a creative Apparel Designer to join Ardene’s forward‑thinking design team. The role can be filled at junior, mid or senior level, reporting to the Design Director and contributing to the full product design cycle for our contemporary fashion collections.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform concept development.
• Create sketches, commodity boards and fit prototypes for new apparel lines.
• Collaborate with design, production, sourcing, graphics and fit teams to develop coherent collections.
• Participate in fit sessions, approve fabrics, trims and colors, and ensure adherence to the production calendar.
• Present seasonal lines, provide insight on market trends and business strategy.
• Analyze sales data, manage budgets and create products that meet business objectives.
• Travel as required for research and sourcing.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in apparel design.
• College‑level degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Strong commercial eye, excellent fashion sense and ability to translate trends.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Proven knowledge of garment construction, production cycle and fit.
• Positive attitude, team player and strong communication skills.
