Annual Giving & Alumni Officer

About the role

Fraser Academy is seeking an Annual Giving & Alumni Officer to lead its annual giving and alumni relations programs, supporting the organization’s mission to empower students with dyslexia. The role reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and is ideal for a fundraising professional with 3–5 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual giving plan to meet revenue and participation goals.
• Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, handling acquisition, retention, and stewardship.
• Write and launch direct mail, e‑appeals, stewardship letters, and impact reports using audience segmentation.
• Plan and run cultivation and stewardship events, including staff giving programs.
• Expand alumni engagement through communications, events, networking, and mentorship opportunities.
• Maintain donor records and campaign tracking in Raiser's Edge and support funding proposals.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with fundraising database Raiser's Edge.
• Graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools.
• Basic video production and editing capabilities.
• Ability to create and segment e‑mail campaigns with tools such as Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor or Constant Contact.
