About the role

Join the International Airports Team within the Customer Experience Division at American Airlines. As an Airport Services Coordinator you will lead a safe, high‑performing airport operation, coaching front‑line team members while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence with a strong safety culture and end‑to‑end customer service.
• Identify, address, and prevent safety concerns through audits, observations, and investigations.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet operational goals safely and efficiently.
• Set team and individual goals aligned with company objectives and mentor staff on skill development and customer service.
• Build relationships based on compassion, authenticity, integrity, respect, and trust.
• Manage escalated service issues and maintain visible leadership during operational challenges.
• Promote clear communication across departments to align teams toward shared goals.
• Communicate corporate and local updates to frontline leaders and reinforce initiative purposes.
• Apply and enforce corporate policies and union agreements, demonstrating knowledge of JCBA and union regulations.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent education level.
• At least 2 years of experience leading others.
• Fluent reading and writing skills in English.
