AI Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking an AI Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and production of Generative and Agentic AI applications that drive business value. As a senior individual contributor, you will combine deep technical expertise with mentorship responsibilities, collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production‑grade Generative and Agentic AI applications and services for internal and external users.
• Develop high‑quality backend services in Python, emphasizing testing, performance, and maintainability.
• Create modular, reusable components and libraries, including multi‑agent systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, and Google ADK.
• Integrate with leading LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock) and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines.
• Deploy, operate, and harden services on major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) using managed services.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and pair programming.
• Promote a culture of engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of professional software engineering experience, including 3‑5 years building AI/ML products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong Python expertise with solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Proven experience delivering Generative and Agentic AI solutions, LLM integration, and prompt engineering.
